Our story

I couldn’t find what I wanted, so I made my own.

EIC was born out of frustration. Crafters in my local community produce elegant, well-made impact tools, but very few are vegan, especially the floggers. The alternatives are to buy cheap synthetic tat, or import toys, but the postage would cost as much as the toy itself.

So I started making my own, and kept going. Everything I make is vegan. Where I can, I work with reclaimed rubber, like bicycle inner tubes headed for landfill: tough, grippy, with a weight and snap close to leather. When I can’t get it, I choose vegan materials made to last. I’m currently over sixty toys in, and have tested each of them myself.

Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike, and each is built to last.
